BB Cream

BB Cream was a real mystery for me for a long time

I went to the cosmetic isle and stared at BB creams and left. I went back to buy it and try it and they were sold out. So after a few months, I finally found one on the shelf, picked it up, thought what the heck I might as well try in, and finally bought it.

According to www.wikipedia.com, BB stands for:

"BB cream stands for blemish balm, blemish base, beauty balm or beblesh balm (apparently because of a trademark in Korea on the word "blemish"), and in Western markets, beauty balm. It is a cosmetic item sold mainly in East and Southeast Asia, although larger beauty brands are increasingly introducing BB creams to Western markets.[1]
BB cream is promoted as an all-in-one facial cosmetic product to replace serum, moisturizer, primer, foundation, and sunblock.[2] It can be worn alone as a tinted moisturizer, over serum and moisturizer as a regular foundation, and under powder, depending on the desired amount of coverage."

What is it like?
When I first used Loreals' BB Cream, I noticed that it was "white" before I applied it.

I rubbed it on my forehead and noticed that it was lightweight, and rubbed in very easy.

As I was rubbing it in, it changed color, and yet somehow it blended with my own skin very well all at the same time.

When I rubbed it in I noticed that it had light coverage, went on very well, and I could re-apply anywhere on my face.

You don't need a lot. A little goes a long way.

Tip: Wash hands after you apply it to your face. Apply powder if you want. It doesn't look like you really need it, but I love powder so I always apply it after anything I wear.

I work all day and noticed that every time I have worn BB Cream it has stayed on very well.

I sometimes have to blow my nose, and notice that some BB Cream does come off on the tissue, but you can't really tell that much of a difference when you look at my face.

PRIME
I can really tell the PRIMER is in the cream and that is one of the reasons I love wearing BB Cream. Primer gives the face a matte feel and look, and it sets really well. It's like having a protective barrier between your face and the outside world, and I swear it cuts down on oiliness. That is just my opinion, and I don't know if that is true, but it feels that way.

CORRECT
I don't really know what they mean by this, but it does hide blemishes well for such a lightweight cream. And I have some discoloration such as red and darker skin spots, and it hides those as well. So I really like that about this cream.

HYDRATE
Hydrating yes...oily not really. I have oily skin and especially when I work all day my face breaks out. This gives the skin a slight moisturizing effect without making the skin oily. I never feel oily with this on, and have noticed a reduction in flaky skin.

PERFECT
Once again, not really sure what they mean by Perfect, however it does provide even coverage and not streaks. The neck and jawline blend really well, and I could say that some days my skin does seem pretty perfect when I wear this. Not sure if that is what they mean, but I can see how I could say it perfects the appearance of my skin. And, that is a lot of credit to give this product considering I have acne prone skin.

TINT
I use medium and it has blended very well with my type of skin, but shoose the one that best describes you skin from the options FAIR, LIGHT, MEDIUM, DEEP.

This is the only brand I have tried so far and I do recommend it.
